Also, there is a ramp into the cottage and a ramp down to the water level. The cottage is a very simple place to enjoy your family and wonderful views of the water. By allowing post-dated cheques for your deposit you will not even notice the payments coming out of your account and won't have a lump to owe at the time of your rental.

For the fisherman : you will not be disappointed and can count on big feasts most days. You will see boats trolling by slowly in the morning and evening looking for the perfect spot for a catch.

For the triathlete: this is the perfect spot to train for long, outdoor swims in a lake and there are many hilly roads to run and cycle so you don't stop training while on vacation.

For the avid readers: if training is not your thing there is nothing like sitting with a hot coffee or tea and a good summer read by the water.

Girl's Week Away

After spending a weekend at Bob's Lake close to this cottage we can't wait to return. We just have to put in some winter months waiting and with the advantage of paying with post-dated cheques it makes booking the cottage and paying for it very easy. It's a snowy day today and we will be dreaming of summer, the nice sandy beach, and playing cards with friends.

Cottage Info

We provide a comfortable 2 bedroom cottage with a loft that is fully equipped for your use. The cottage is located at popular Bob's Lake, Ontario, off Sunset Shores. This is a bay that is secluded and quiet with very little boating traffic. The cottage has many windows that provide beautiful views of the lake and has an open, sandy beach. There is a big dock to hang out and fish or to just relax and listen to the birds.

For the early morning fisherman there is the most beautiful rising sun. We provide an aluminum boat with a 7.5 HP boat and a canoe to go explore. Close by is the town of Sharbot Lake or Verona for any supplies that you may need. Also, Westport is a favorite attraction for rainy days when you would like to go shopping.
